changing time period list

Hi;

In approve time screen, I want to change number of list on "Time Period" List box.

In current situation 12 previous and 4 next week is listed.

I want to increase previous weeks.

In my research I found TMG - Time Periods validation. Can It be related with this validation. If so how can I change [AS.TMG_PAST_PERIODS_TO_ALLOW] value.

Regards

SELECT p2.period_id,
               p2.period_name
   FROM ktmg_periods p2,
               ktmg_period_types pt,
               ktmg_periods p1
WHERE trunc(CURRENT_DATE, 'DDD') between trunc(p1.start_date, 'DDD') and trunc(p1.end_date, 'DDD')
   AND p1.period_type_id = pt.period_type_id
   AND p2.period_type_id = p1.period_type_id
   AND pt.enabled_flag = 'Y'
   AND p2.seq between p1.seq - [AS.TMG_PAST_PERIODS_TO_ALLOW] and p1.seq + [AS.TMG_FUTURE_PERIODS_TO_ALLOW]
   AND p2.period_type_id = ?
 ORDER BY p2.seq

Re: changing time period list

Hi,

please refer to Time Management Configuration Guide, chapter Creating Time Periods.

Regarding the parameter, please refer to the admin guide for changing the value of the TMG_PAST_PERIODS_TO_ALLOW.

cheers

Re: changing time period list

Hi Alex,

Thank you very much.

I searched appliction portfoilo management Admin guide not Installation Administration guide  :(

One last thing; is there any maximum value limit for this parameter.

If I change it to 30 for example, do you thing any errror will occur in other screens or reports.

Thanks again

Re: changing time period list

Hi,

you're welcome :)

there should be no errors in the screens/reports.

We usually keep this parameter to a low value since it is quite inconvenient for the users to select from a drop-down list with 30 values.
