a link type token apperance on request search

Hello;

We want to show a link type token on request search screen. The link type token is shown on request screen (reference fields > Referene projects). But the link type token is not shown neither available columns nor query builder. We want to show the "reference projects" token on request search screen. Could you guide us to show "reference projects" on request search screen.

Regards

Re: a link type token apperance on request search

Hi Eata,

I just did a quick test on 9.1:

Create field on Request Type with a link-type validation. Make this display and editable and available columns on the right side.

I can then edit the field in the request which I create.

If I then run a search on the request type - > advanced search, the column is visible for the advanced search results column but NOT for the query builder.

Remember, advanced search will only offer fields in the available columns display that have the same token in all request types. For Query Builder, this doesn't seem to be a valid option.

Best regards,

Dirk

Re: a link type token apperance on request search

Hello Alex;

The display on search filter area is not editable.

Search validation is editable below the display on search filter.

I am sending screeen shot.

Is there any way to make search validation editable. Or which search validation shall I select?

Could you help me please.

Re: a link type token apperance on request search

Hello, eata,

the link-type tokens are not available in the search page - this is by design.

These fields are only available for display in the advanced search mode.

Just out of curiosity: why would you want to search a link field????

As a workaround, you can build a custom portlet, but again, I do not see the relevance of filtering by a link field.

cheers
