Which table(s) can i use to get the attached documents ?

There is a table named as "knta_documents" but this table doesn't store the document itself.i want to make a portlet to show all the documents and in case of need user can view the document by clicking the id of the document in the list.

i just need the table name.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Sevilay,

documents are stored in PPM server filesystem e.g. C:/ITG/attachments unless PPM is configured to store it in different place, however it will still be local or network folder - not DataBase. You can still get list of documents in portlet but you should build a link to a file using following link:
http:///itg/servlet/Document?ID=&viewOnly=TRUE
where
is link to your PPM instance
is DOCUMENT_ID column value from
knta_documents table.

Thanks to both of you.

Alexander i want to ask you a question.

i searched but i didn't find in the datamodel document. What is the meaning of those constant values in the query :
target_type_code=55 And source_entity_id=59

Are 55 and 59 refer to the request type ?

What do they ("55" ,"59" and "6") refer to ?

Thanks.

You could also use a standard portlet that displays references to request in a list form. Search for a portlet with %reference and you should find 2, one for requests, one for packages.
Add the one for requests to a dash board and filter as you need.

Re: Which table(s) can i use to get the attached documents ?

Hi Alexander,

when i create a datasource using this query and use this in a portlet, the lnk column is seen like that : 'http://ppm.bankasya.com.tr/itg/servlet/Document?ID='||parameter2||%'&viewOnly=TRUE'

This means the value of the parameter2 doesn't come and therefore link doesn't work.
i make this column as custom hyperlink in the datasource.
Can you send the screenshot of the datasource columns ?

Thanks in advance.
