Upgrade to 8.01 "broke" web address validation

After upgrading to 8.01, we are limited to 40 characters for the "constant" url that is defined on a field using the web address validation. We get an error in the trigger KNTA.KNTA_PARAMETERS_SET_FIELDS_TRIG stating that the value can only be 40 characters.

Has anyone else experienced this?

thanks
Linda

Re: Upgrade to 8.01 "broke" web address validation

Linda,

I ran into the same issue after the upgrade to 8.01. I got the following answere from PPM Support.

This is a defect in PPM 8.01.The defect number is 208224.

Please run the following SQL statement to reset the field size -

alter table KNTA_PARAM_SET_FIELDS_NLS modify DEFAULT_CONST_VALUE VARCHAR2(4000);

This alter statement should fix the problem.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I think you need to restart the PPM instance once you have altered this table.

Thanks
Surendra
