Upgrade 7.1 to 7.5 on unix servers

HI,
I'm attempting to upgrade from 7.1 sp9 to 7.5 on a AIX os.. And I'm getting following errors during the upgrade.

java.io.FileNotFoundException: preupgrade/preUpgradeBackupDriver.txt (A file or directory in the path name does not exist.)
at java.io.FileInputStream.(FileInputStream.java:135)

The file is in the preupgrade dir but named predupgradebackupdriver.txt (note the lower case) so unix says the file is not there...

I see this issue for numerous files..

Has anyone else seen this issue and how did you get around it?

On our Solaris box the file names are mixed case. Maybe there was an issue when you unzipped the upgrade bundle?

Re: Upgrade 7.1 to 7.5 on unix servers

I re-downloaded the file.
scp'ed it to my aix server and ran the
unzip -d mitg-750-upgrade.zip

I get errors about the extract saying failed and many files have 0 lenght on them..
upgrade_750/EULA.pdf: unknown compression method

If i try winzipping it on my pc I'm not sure how the many files to winunzip or how the upgrade will react.

Hi Andrea,

Are you downloading the file directly on the PPM server machine or on your local Windows machine. If you are downloading on your Windows machine then how are you moving/copying the file from Windows to AIX?
