Unable Recompile Custom JSP's in PPM 8.0 SP2

Hi,

Recently we have upgraded to PPM 8.0 SP2. In this version, when we modify some of the custom JSP's, we are unable to recompile these modified JSP's. ananyone face same issue.
We even set the parameter JSP_RECOMPILE_ENABLED=True.But we have still same issue.
Can anyone have any idea what could be the problem.

Thanks

Re: Unable Recompile Custom JSP's in PPM 8.0 SP2

I've run into the same problem, going back to 7.1. For development of custom JSPs, we just change the file name of the JSP and it will compile it since it is a new file. For example, one report I was working on was called PSR.jsp. During development, it became PSRxx.jsp so that xx could increment version numbers. This means you have to change it in the Report Type configuration, too, but it's faster than having to bounce the server. And just for the record, I have also tried clearing out the work directory, running kJSPCompiler and kCacheManager, but nothing would ever get it to consistently recompile the updated JSP using the same name.

Unfortunately JSP_RECOMPILE_ENABLED does not work:
