UI Rules when Request is closed

My client is on 7.5 SP4 and we've setup some UI Rules to Show/Hide fields based on the value in another field. This works fine through out the workflow process until the Request is closed. Once it's close, the fields always show up. Anyone else seen this?

Re: UI Rules when Request is closed

Hi Jason,

We have observed the same behavior. I'm assuming this is by design.

Re: UI Rules when Request is closed

I hope it's not, it defeats the purpose of those UI Rules. I've opened up an SR with HP to get an official answer. I'll post here when/if I get a response.

Re: UI Rules when Request is closed

They've already responded, and yes, it is by design that Rules do not trigger when a Request is closed. However, there is an Enhancement Request to allow this behavior, but no ETA on when it will be available.

Re: UI Rules when Request is closed

HP Responded to SR. This is a "feature" to prevent data changing after a Request is closed, but there is an ER to allow for the UI Rules to still trigger.
