UI Rule will not work in Execution Step (Hp 7.5 sp2)

Hi all,

This is inform you all that, UI Rule will not work in the HP 7.5 SP 2 .

Suppose, you have a scenario that you reconfirm some field, and you need to apply on field change some UI rule.

This is not working, for this issue you need to apply the sp3/4 or you have to ask HP for solution.

Thanks,
Prabu

Re: UI Rule will not work in Execution Step (Hp 7.5 sp2)

Hi Prabu -

Would you mind clarifying? What UI Rule were you trying to use? We're having problems getting the showMessage UI rule to work for all users - those of us who have additional access rights get the message, while users with less rights do not get the message. I was wondering if this was the same thing.

Thanks,

Jamie

Re: UI Rule will not work in Execution Step (Hp 7.5 sp2)

Hi Jamie,

Basically I was trying to make required and not required ,depends on the value in one field.

Actually my problem is different from yours.Even then i can understand what makes the problem for you.

Can you Please let me know when your users get the issue.. Is that rule written on Not Submitted step.

Can you please tell me the exactly when this problem comes.

Because even i have faced the problem in UI (show message) Rule.

Thanks,
Prabu

I can tell you that with SP3 they work fine for all users. I've attached a sample screen shot of one of my rules that are working . It might help you.

Hi,

As i Mentioned earlier , this is working in the SP3 or later version.

There is no solution given for the HP-PPM 7.5 SP2.

Thanks,
Prabu
