PPM 6.0 comes with several reference object types named ITG xxx Migrator. Build a workflow with your databases defined in the source and destination environments and you can use Change Management (or whatever it is called in 7.x) to create migration packages. You can find documentation for the object types in the associated reference manuals.

Re: Transfer of PPM DB data from one DB to Another

Hello Karim,

Are you mentioning about the 'data' or the 'configuration'? From the example you have given 'workflow request type', it looks you want to migrate the configurations of the system. If so, then yes, absolutely you can transfer or to say 'migrate' the configurations from one PPM instance to another PPM instance. I wouldn't say it directly from database to database. Since there are out-of-the-box migration utilities available that will automatically migrate almost all types of configurations between two PPM instances. There are only some configurations that cannot be migrated and needs to be re-created manually in the destination or other PPM instance. Please confirm if you are refering to the configurations or the end user created data in the system, so based on the we can go from there. Thanks.
