We've recently started doing full project management in PPM with time entry (a change from high level project plans that they were using.) With the detailed plans, there are generally a small number of users who do not use PPM and therefore can't report time. How do you recommend we handle these users. (we are using PPM 7.5).
We occasionally have the same thing here. One option is for the PM to enter the time as Unassigned Effort actuals on the task, if it is okay for it to be costed at the task role's default rate. Also, you can give these people user accounts and give the PM 'delegate' authority so he can enter time sheets on their behalf. Third option is that 7.5.3 and above has a feature that can import time in XML format, if you want to import time sheets from some external system for these folks.
