Taking backup of the requests in HP PPM

How can we take bakeup of the requests that we have created through HP PPM in our local system? How kMigratorImport.sh/kMigratorExtract.sh commands work in taking backup?

Re: Taking backup of the requests in HP PPM

Hi Mridula,

Do you want to take the backup of the request type configurations or the request data?

The scripts you mentioned takes up all the configurations of the request types only and not the request data. For request data backup, your DBAs or Ops teams can take the backups using usual organization backup policy, but that will involve generally entire system back. Let know what exactly you are trying to achieve.

Re: Taking backup of the requests in HP PPM

Hi,

you can backup your configuration with the build-in deployment management.
Check the SysAdmin Guide (Entity Migration Chapter) and the deployment management configuration guide for details.
