Table component tokens in UI rules

Hello!

Tell me please whether it's possible to get the value from TC row by another column's value using TC tokens in UI rule?

"Commands, Tokens, and Validations Guide and Reference" guide describes how to get the value by row seq number ([REQD.T.EMPLOYEE.TE="1".VP.NAME]) only. But i want to "filter" by the other column's value.

Thanks in advance!

Hi AlekseyG,

The tokens for table columns are TE.P.TOKEN and TE.VP.TOKEN.

Hello Alfredo!

I need only those rows where the column has specific value. i wonder how to filter using tokens.

Re: Table component tokens in UI rules

Why don't you use a CASE CONDITION with the token in the where part????

Re: Table component tokens in UI rules

I need to get the result right after Table Component field change. So i can't select from DB because the data there is not updated by the moment.

Re: Table component tokens in UI rules

Hi AlekseyG,

I dont understand what you want to accomplish. Imagine that you have this table

COL1   COL2    COL3-Result

1            1             2

3            1             4

3            2             5

As far I understood you if you change the value of COL2 or COL1 you want to update the COL3, right?

You can achieve that by using Table UI Rules, using the TE.P.COL1 / TE.P.COL2 tokens. If you just want to update them under certains values you can set the values on the table rules.

Hi Alfredo!

Taking your example I want to select the sum of COL1 values where COL2='1'

Re: Table component tokens in UI rules

Hi AlekseyG,

I think that the only way to achieve is after save with a SQL function that add the values according your second column. I usually do this in a rule when the page is load and update a field on the request.
