Did anyone face this weird issue?
After entering the entries in the table component in particular request type and when we click "Save", it throws an exception with GUID.
We have not modified anything w.r.t table component. Is there any other table in backend which we might have to look?
I have already raised a HP Support Case on this. Just wanted to know if any of the PPM experts have faced similar issues and any resolution.
Just ran the server cache report and found this. Does this have any implication to this problem? as cache free being 0.
If you think it is a cache issue, you can clear it by running kRunCacheManager.sh ?
Also, can you get the exception details for the GUID that you got when the error occurred? Search > Administrative > Exceptions. There might be some details in the log generated along with the GUID.
Usually when I run into weird sounding GUID errors, it turns out to be a data issuethat is meddling with a PPM query. e.g oracle type conversion errors.
We found out the reason for this issue. It is primarily due to the data corruption in the key for KTE. Since data is being updated from backend, at certain places the way key is incremented overlapped. Thats the cause for this issue.
Can you please describe in detail the reason for the exception. what is KTE and how its incremented value was getting overlapped.
