Setting workflow step time out timestamp

I need to have the ability to let a user select a date and time for a workflow step to timeout. I know that I can use a token for a variable number of hours / days / weeks etc. but I want to work directly from a timestamp. How can I let the user select a date & time for the timeout?

Re: Setting workflow step time out timestamp

We have done this by calculating the time in minutes remaining to the selected execution time, then storing this value in a token (usually a hidden request field) used in the timeout setup. Note that this time will have a granularity of 15 minutes, based on when and how often the timeout task runs.

Re: Setting workflow step time out timestamp

That is what I was expecting to have to do. But, I know that ITG/PPM will then take the interval and calculate that back to a timestamp to set the step timeout. I was looking for a way to avoid all of the date arithmetic. A nice enhancement would be to all us to enter a timestamp directly as a token as an alternative to entering a minute/hour/day interval.
