Server down

The server is down and when I run the kStatus script I get an error which saysy:
$ sh kStatus.sh

We tried changin the RMI port but that did not work.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

I think we also had this issue. The cause of our issue turned out to be processes that were still running.

You could try running something like the following:

ps â ef | grep -i

Then execute the following command to kill the process:

kill -9
vamsee_1

The issue was that there was some RMITG process whihc was running on the database and would not allow the server to connect to the database as it was eating up all the resources on the database.
