PENDING_COST_EV_UPDATE_SERVICE_ENABLED Enables a service that asynchronously applies external updates to the Pending Cost EV Updates service when updates cannot be made immediately. Default is disabled

It is used to calculate the periodic breakdown data for the Cumulative Cost Metrics Assuming you have these 2 parameters:

Create a user(resource) and set Cost Rate: for him to $10/hour. 2. Create a project and add one task to it. 3. Set Sched Start Date to 1/1/05 and Sched Duration to 100. 4. Assign the user for the task. 5. Enable Finance Management in the project's settings. 6. Set project's state to Active and save. 7. Create a baseline for this project and save. 8. Wait 15-30 min to make sure all EV analyzes processes are completed. 9. Select Cost -> Analyze -> Projects -> Cumulative Cost Metrics on Dashboard
