SQL Statement to change view of #@#

I've seen responses on how to change the filters for a multi-select value but I'm not sure I saw a SQL command to change the view of the field. I've attached a screenshot but what I'd like to do is take Unix#@#Wintel#@#SQl and when the portlet runs the SQL select statement have it view as Unix, Wintel, SQL. I've seen it done for PM field but not a custom field?? Right now its a simple "rhd.VISIBLE_PARAMETER43" statement which pulls in the #@#. What change should I make to the SQL statement to have it substitute a comma space for the #@#? When I get to the filtering by this field I'll follow some of the other forum suggestions before posting. Thank you in advance for your help.

Use the sql replace function (http://www.techonthenet.com/oracle/functions/replace.php) to do this.

Spot On. Thank you. The new statement is Replace(rhd.Visible_Parameter43, '#@#', ', ') and displays the results as Unix, Wintel, SQL.
