Rules in request types

Hi,

i wrote a rule in a request type which's function is select the manager name of the selected user. Then i want to send an email notification in the workflow step to that user and his/her manager. But the email wasn't send to manager. In order to test my rule,i write the token of the manager name in email body. The name doesn't appear in the email.

i attached the rule. What is wrong with my rule ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Rules in request types

Hi.
The token in the sql of your rule will resolve to a user_id not a username, so either use VP in token or compare it to the ku.user_id.

Re: Rules in request types

Can you attach the HTML code of the mail?

Also can you attach the validation of the field whose token is KULLANICI_ID

Can you attach the Workflow snap and tell me at which step the mail is sent?

Re: Rules in request types

Can you show the validation SS_USERS?

Field validation of the token KULLANICI_ID?

HOw you defined the Manager Name in TO or CC or BCC, that snap too... and WF snap too...

I can try to develop a mini setup here, so that I can learn too...

Re: Rules in request types

I saw your snap, Can you do me a favour? Instead of defining the notification in WF Step 1. Crea...

Add an OR step next to it and define the notification there? and see what results you get?

Re: Rules in request types

One thing I observed, Can you change the validation of Manager Name to 'SS_USERS' instead of Text field.

This may not be an issue, but general setup is not to use a text field validation.
