Roll up planned values from project tasks

Hi Team,

Sorry if my questions sounds silly.

What is the planned value that we capture for in tasks of work plans?

The actual values that we capture in tasks roll up to financial summaries. But the planned values doesn’t roll up to financial summary.

In our case, we have use MSP plugin to load the work plans, and the complete access is given to MS project plan. We get both the planned and actual values in Microsoft project plans.

The actual values are rolling up to Financial Summary, but how can I roll up the planned value from work plan to financial summary?

Can you please please suggest?

Hi Srujan,

Could you please check these values:
1) Services
1.1) Cost Rollup Service
Status: Enabled
Schedule Type: Simple
Schedule: 1 hour
1.2) Cost Rate Rule Update Service
Status: Enabled
Schedule Type: Simple
Schedule: 1 hour

2) Project Settings (example at attach)
in "Cost and Effort" in "Financial Management" caption,
2.1) "Enable Financial Management for Work Plan" = YES
2.2) "Planned labor costs on the workplan will be:" = Automaticly
2.3) "Costs on the Financial Summary" what you want

Hope you are doing good.

 

I am facing the same issue. Did the you got the solution for this?

 

Its quite strange but when I have assigned the resource on one of the task then it started showing up the cost for all task.

 

Any suggestion/solution will be highly appreciated.
