We want to restrict users for logging time to closed projects,However when users copy existing time sheets and check 'Include Cosed Line' check box while creating a new time sheet, they can still log time to old projects.
I have made the following changes -
1. In TMG Request Type, Include closed, set as 'No' 2. In Project Type associated with the project , the Cost And Effort tab has 'Do not allow. Resources cannot add tasks that are complete to their timesheets.' as marked.
The Project is completed, and we do not want users to log time against a completed/closed Project, However if an existing time sheet is copied ( which has the project added, when it was active, but now closed), the users can still log time to it and submit it.
We were updating the Project Settings to mark 'Do not log time to closed Projects', through the Project Type, however after we saved it, the change in the respective Projects was not reflected, even though the Project Type was saved with the changes.
