Request Type Rules

Does rules in request type support multiple level of triggers? For example, consider three fields F1, F2, F3 and rule1 sets F2 when F1 changes and rule2 sets F3 when F2 changes. F1 is an auto-complete list and F2 and F3 are drop-down lists. When F1 is changed F2 is set by rule1 but F3 doesn't get set(The second rule isn't triggered). Only when F2 is manually changed then F3 is triggered. Is this how it works or am I missing something? Thanks!

Re: Request Type Rules

That's correct, if a rule changes a field it is not the same event as if a user did. Therefore you may want to have rule2 being depending on F2 & F1 or have rule1 fill both F2 & F3.

Re: Request Type Rules

Didn't work in 7.1 as I recall.

Rules get realised as javascripts that are depending on user input, and the events didn't cascade along to other rules depending on the set field.
