Request (Header) type new field, how to know in which table the field was created in?

hi there,

My first ever message, so please go easy on me.

I need to create new fields from the PFM-Project request header type. ( HP PPM 9.22)
During the field creation process, I am given a default Storage location (example: PARAMETER 41).
My question is as follow: how do I find out the PPM table in which my new field was created?

Same question when the new field is created directly from the PFM-Project request type.

Many thanks in advance,

Fred

Re: Request (Header) type new field, how to know in which table the field was created in?

Hi Fred,

If you created the field in the header will be on KCRT_REQ_HEADER_DETAILS

If you created the field in the body of the request type will be on KCRT_REQUEST_DETAILS

If you create fields on a table, the data will be stored in KCRT_TABLE_ENTRIES

Here some examples

SELECT r.request_id, r.description descripcion, rt.request_type_name,
s.status_name, r.creation_date, r.created_by creado_por,
r.percent_complete porcentaje_copletado, rh.parameter5 generado_en,
rh.parameter2 id_grupo_ideas, rh.visible_parameter2 grupo_ideas,
rh.parameter6 idea_padre, rd1.parameter6 id_negocio,
rd1.visible_parameter6 negocio, rd1.parameter3 id_plataforma,
rd1.visible_parameter3 plataforma, rd1.parameter5 id_categoria,
rd1.visible_parameter6 categoria, rd1.parameter7 id_marca,
rd1.visible_parameter7 marca, rd1.parameter2 id_tipo_producto,

rd1.visible_parameter4 potencial, rd1.parameter9 nombre_proyecto,
rd1.parameter13 id_proyecto, rd1.visible_parameter13 link_proyecto,
rd1.parameter10 id_fec_ini_pro, rd1.visible_parameter10 fec_ini_pro,
rd1.parameter11 id_fec_fin_pro, rd1.visible_parameter11 fec_fin_pro,
rd1.parameter12 id_region, rd1.visible_parameter12 region
FROM kcrt_requests r,
kcrt_req_header_details rh,
kcrt_request_details rd1,
kcrt_request_types rt,

WHERE 1 = 1
AND r.request_id = rh.request_id
AND rh.request_id = rd1.request_id
AND r.request_type_id = rt.request_type_id

Welcome to the forums.

All new header fields are stored in kcrt_req_header_details.  All new detail fields are stored in kcrt_request_details.  For detail fields you will need to use both the correct request_id and batch_number to specify the database row.

Hi Alredo,

Thank you very much for such a prompt feedback. I double-checked it (for some reason, I could not find the data I was looking for in these very tables earlier on today) and now I am good.

Cheers, Fred
