RSC_Resources_int table introduced in PPM 9.20

Hi,

We are in the process of analyzing the impacts of custom implementation in PPM 9.14 for upgrading the environment to 9.21

One of the addition to PPM 9.20 is new open interface table RSC_Resources_int table to load resource attributes such as roles, time sheet policy, TM approver which is good.

It would be of great help if some one with upgrade experience throws some light on how would it impact the existing report "Import Users" which imports data into transactional table from open interface tables like "knta_users_int" and knta_user_securities" table.

Was a new report created to import the attributes from RSC_Resources_int table into RSC_resources table and thus it won't be an impact the way open interface works in PPM 9.14 by importing data only from the above two knta tables and we can leave the RSC_Resources_int table blank to avoid any change to the interface.

Thanks,

Dipen

Hi,

I don't think there is going to be an impact on your import report with these new table. You can get more information about this table on these guides,

Re: RSC_Resources_int table introduced in PPM 9.20

Thanks Randull,

The guide nowhere mentions how the import user would actually perform the import considering the data in the tables, which wasn't there in the previous version.

Hopefully it shouldn't impact the report the way it is working currently, As of now we'll have to wait for the upgrade and test it out if it doesn't really break any thing.

Thanks again for replying to the post.
