Question on Database Table of PPM

Hi all,

I'm just newbie in PPM. Our company is using PPM v8.0

As I was checking the Datasources of Dashboard in the Workbench, I noticed that 2 tables that is used for query:

1.) KCRT_STATUSES

2.) KCRT_FIELD_GROUP_DETAILS_V

When I tried looking for them in the tables in the DB, I can't seem to find them.

I later found out that KCRT_STATUSES is the same as KCRT_STATUSES_NLS.

Both of them are the same.

This means that you can SELECT the KCRT_STATUSES_NLS using KCRT_STATUSES as the table?

How does this happend?

Is there other tables in ppm that are like this? If yes, can you list them down?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Question on Database Table of PPM

Since release 8.x (introduction of MLU) kcrt_statuses is a view and kcrt_statuses_nls and kcrt_statuses_loc are the tables the view is based on.

KCRT_FIELD_GROUP_DETAILS_V is a view too.

For more details on table structure, you can refer HP PPM 8.x "Data Model Guide".
