Production Refresh

We want to perform a refresh into our development environment with our production data. However, here is my question. We are in development and cannot turn off notifications for the environment, so what can be done in order to not have emails go to our production users that might have had requests sitting in a pending step with any time outs that might fire or anything of that nature.

Re: Production Refresh

Hi,

You should delete all email addresses in knta_users table email_address field. Than truncate knta_notif_txn_parents table. To completely disable notifications clear com.kintana.core.server.SMTP_SERVER parameter value in server.conf.

PS: please inform us if it work for you.

Re: Production Refresh

Keep only developers email address in the system i.e. replace all email address in KNTA_USERS table with your email ID.

To completely turn off Notifications, add following parameter in server.conf: -
com.kintana.core.server.TURN_ON_NOTIFICATIONS=false

(To enable again just change value to true).

After refresh,
don't forget to update KINTANA_SERVER environment after refresh (This is most common issue after refresh).
And check Invalid objects.
