Problems with Cluster Config & Apache

We have a 3 node cluster configuration setup and all 3 nodes are on the same VM. We use Apache HTTP Server and my hunch is that as PPM shifts a user to a different node, it doesn't recognize the session and asks them to login again, sometimes repeatedly.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Re: Problems with Cluster Config & Apache

The front end must use 'sticky connections'. A user logon is associated with a specific node and all communication must be done with that node. The other nodes do not know about the connection.

Re: Problems with Cluster Config & Apache

Any idea how I could confirm that Apache is using sticky sessions? I'm looking for info, but the nodes are setup per HP instruction guide so not sure what's missing.

I found a setting for Apache HTTP Server which is ..

worker.load_balancer.sticky_session=True

So far so good - thanks!
