Problem using PPMXML Generator for importing requests

Hello Team,

We had been using the PPXMLGenerator .7.1.SP3.xla (earlier this year) with Excel 2007, but now when trying to do an import this week we are receiving error that "macro cannot be found or disabled".  We have enabled all macro security settings in Excel and still cannot get macro to run.

We uninstalled the "xla" file (by unchecking thru Add-In option), and followed steps to reactivate, but now are getting a 'visual basic' error.

We are on PPM 9.10.

Could this be an issue with our Excel settings or something with the xla importer?

Trying to narrow down where to start troubleshooting the issue.

Thanks!

Re: Problem using PPMXML Generator for importing requests

Hi Frankie,

Please consider your computer security tools' restrictions. Maybe antivirus program or policies stop the query.

Re: Problem using PPMXML Generator for importing requests

Celi/Alex...yes it appears this was an issue with the registry file relating to the 'add-in' file so was an Excel issue.  Once that was done, I re-installed the add-in and got the normal menu options for XML and importing.

Thanks so much for everyone's assistance!
