Practical limit on number of request types or workflows
Has anyone seen a practical limit on the number of request types or workflows that PPM can support without encountering performance issues? We currently have over 110 request types with about the same number of workflows. We also have over 200 package workflows. We have timeout issues with the Request List portlet and request searches, but operations seem to be fine.
Any insight into your experience with the scalability of PPM will be appreciated.
Re: Practical limit on number of request types or workflows
Jim, We also having the same number of request types and Workflows. We are not finding any great issues.
We are have 8 PROD Environments which are clustered. I hope without analyzing the size of the object and configuration of the servers this is a hard question to be answered. Hope HP Support can help you more in this.
