Populating a Table Component from PL/SQL

In PPM 7.5, I am trying to use PL/SQL to populate a table component with a set of rows based on other values in the request. I call the stored function from an execution step in the workflow. It inserts into kcrt_table_entries, updates kcrt_request_details. Then the next execution step flushes the table component cache. However, the changes are not seen on the request. The only way to see them is to manually add a row to the table component through the web interface. Then all of the other rows show up too. Please help if you know of a way around this problem.

Re: Populating a Table Component from PL/SQL

10 minutes after posting, I found the problem. They changed the Table Component cache from option 9 to option 7

ksc_connect_source_server SOURCE_ENV="KINTANA_PROD"
cd [AS.BASE_PATH]bin
./kRunCacheManager.sh 9
ksc_exit

should now be:

ksc_connect_source_server SOURCE_ENV="KINTANA_PROD"
cd [AS.BASE_PATH]bin
./kRunCacheManager.sh 7
ksc_exit

Re: Populating a Table Component from PL/SQL

Minor note: I have found that the following is a bit more efficient as it does not need to establish a connection to the local server:

ksc_local_exec sh "cd bin;kRunCacheManager.sh A"
