PPM Startup

I am trying to start the PPM and me the following message appears

"error while generating MULTICAST_CLUSTER_NAME, using PRIMARY_BASE_URL instead.
java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection."

Who has had this error?

Thanks

Re: PPM Startup

Hello,

looking at the files of logs noticed the following:

"Checking rmi://hppoamercury: 1099/KintanaServer
--> Server is not running! (Could not connect to rmi://hppoamercury: 1099/KintanaServer)"

if someone can help me.

Thanks

Re: PPM Startup

I don't recall ever seeing the 1st error message.

In response to the 2nd question, you may need to change the RMI port # in the server.conf file.

Try the following:

From the server
1. open the command prompt
2. type netstat -a | more (press enter to display list of available connections)
3. search for available ports "listening" between 1024 and 1099.

be sure to look on both sides of the screen for the port #, it may be in use.

Update the RMI port in the server.conf file with the available port #.

Restart ITG/PPM.
