PPM Pacakge log not opening after Java 7 update 21 installled on the laptop
As a part of Java security updates my machine (Client for PPM Server) was updated with Java 7 update 21 (from Java 7 u17). Soon after this the package logs stopped opening in a browser.
Details: On a Package status tab, when I select a line and click 'View Line Exec Log ' - I get "The default browser you entered (C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe) is not valid or will not run. Please open the User Profiles dialog and select a new Default Browser from the General tab."
This is only after I got the Java updates (to Java 7U21). Attaching the screen-shot for reference.
From a PPM client perspective, a java version 1.6.0_07 or later should be fine to open the workbench but we have this issue.
