PPM Configuration

Hi,

Installation of PPM has finished succesfully.
Now we need to configure the tool. We need to run a .sh file in a Windows environment to start up the Configuration screen.

The file that needs to be executed is kConfig.sh

Can someone help to run this?

Thx,
Bart

Re: PPM Configuration

Bart,

open Windows command window and go to C:\ITG\bin\ (or other path you install PPMC).
Then use "sh kConfig.sh" command to open configuration utility. In order to do this you need to install cygwin first (including addition of cygwin path into Windows PATH environmental variable).
In some cases (when .sh script failes) you need to convert .sh script end lines to unix/dos depending on cygwin configuration using "d2u (or u2d) kConfig.sh" command. You will also need to convert all other scripts (*.sh).

Hope it helps.

Re: PPM Configuration

Hello Bart,
you need to have Cygwin (-> http://www.cygwin.com/) installed on the PPM server than you can run "sh kConfig.sh" from a command line. The server itself needs this unix-like shell as well.
