Not getting "Expense Type" drop down when we are adding forecast lines using Proposal form

Hi,

We are using PPM 8 SP2. When we are creating lines in forecast and actuals for financial summary
using Proposal, we are getting type and Category dropdowns. We are not getting Expense Type drop down.
We know that if the project/budget is capitalized only, we can able to view expense type drop down.
We are getting Expense type field when we are adding lines using project but not from proposal.

Can anyone tell me what could be the problem and how to have financial summary capitalized when we are in Proposal.

Thanks

In a proposal, open the financial summary then go to the "Financial Summary Settings" at the top. You should have an option to include capitalized costs there.

In some cases, we have issues where even though we say a project can contain capital it won't register on the financials until we open the project settings and hit save. Probably not the case here but just FYI.

Not sure there's a way to make that a selectable option in a more convenient manner.
