i tried restarting the server but it still gives me the same error.

Is there any other way to debug why is this error being thrown?

Have you started the PPM service under services?

Re: Not able to login into ppm, apache 404 error

i have started the PPM service and its showing started.

Is there a specific folder in ppm installation where it looks for this login page?

I can see the session being established on port 8080 while doing a netstat, but not able to see the login page.

Re: Not able to login into ppm, apache 404 error

I cannot narrow down to the exact problem without the server access.

Please set up a webex call with HP Support and show the system setup to the HP Support engineer.... They can resolve things soon.

Re: Not able to login into ppm, apache 404 error

You are trying to access it via "Localhost"... try to access it vai "Machine Name"..

and change the base URL in server.conf with the machine-name:port

Re: Not able to login into ppm, apache 404 error

gentlemen,

please check the serverLog.txt for such errors - these errors occur when tomcat is running but it is unable to launch the itg application!

if you post the serverLog.txt here, maybe we can help!

cheers

Re: Not able to login into ppm, apache 404 error

Hi Khanh La,

Is this a new installation or this is a restore from an instance? If it is a restore you have to check the knta_users table and compare all the columns of the users with the admin user, if the user is missing something you have to fill all the columns that are missing (from the comparison with the admin user)

Kind regards,

Daniel
