Re: Move Package in workflow

Have you tried using a source step that utilizes the ksc_move_request_workflow command?

Re: Move Package in workflow

Hi Shiju,

Maybe still want an example,

Here an example of usage:

ksc_move_request_workflow REQUEST_ID="34567" FROM_WORKFLOW_STEP_SEQ="4" EVENT_NAME="FORCE_TRANSITION" RESULT_VISIBLE_VALUE="Step_1" TO_WORKFLOW_STEP_SEQ="7"

Between step 4 and 7 there is Step_1.

Re: Move Package in workflow

Celil,

thanks for the reply.

But will this work with package also instead of request_id and replace with package_id

since we have used the same to move request between different steps.

Re: Move Package in workflow

Hi Babuchsh,

I think move package workflow is only required when you are using Parallel step. From my point of view, I think you can modify your workflow logic to avoid the necessity of MOVE Package.

In addition to this, in case the workflow is using parallel steps and one of the step is not traversed then still the workflow can succesfully close the package, so we can say that there is no impact.

Cheers..
