Library Page

We want to change our PPM Documentation Library page to only contain URL's to Sharepoint. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Re: Library Page

Yep, look at the section called 'Customizing Your PPM Documentation Library' in the Customizing the Standard Interface Guide for step-by-step.

Re: Library Page

Erik,

I opened this thread because in the pdf it states that you cannot use just URL's on the main library page. It says that you can only use htm files on the custom page. I was looking for a way to change the main library page?

Re: Library Page

Instead of adding URL in library page, you can add this URL in the Menu section. We have also done the same.

Re: Library Page

I got this requiement and I found one simple solution.

Since in PPM library functionality you can only add a document and there is no provision to add a link to external system. Here is a work around.

1. Create a HTML page

2. in that HTML only add this below line.. and save it as cst_page.htm

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=<YOUR_HYPER_LINK>" />

 3. In Library.xlm add below section (since htm is not supported in Library.xml page so using PPT)

<group>
      <head>
        <htitle>My Cutom Link</htitle></head>

      <document>
        <dtitle>External link page</dtitle>
        <dfn>cst_page.htm</dfn>
        <dtype>ppt</dtype>
      </document>

 </group>

Cheers..
