Java Reports

Hi

I need to know, if somebody could guide me about how to deploy a custom Java report with PPM.

Suppose I have created a JSP page with the same connection strings which PPM reports (JSP) are using, now how do I deploy those..

Is there any guide for it, or if somebody could share his/her experience would be a greate help.

thanks

Re: Java Reports

You can go to workbench>>configuration>> report types

you can write below commands with your jsp name

ksc_run_jsp_report /web/knta/drv/rpt/Report.jsp
REPORT_ID=[RP.REPORT_SUBMISSION_ID]
USER_ID=[RP.CREATED_BY]
OUT_BASEFILE=[RP.FILENAME]
ksc_end_report_parameters

Keep jsp in same path.

Re: Java Reports

Hi,

Thanks Vibhor for the reply,

I'm going to do the same.

Also Is there any recompilation required for this, or I simply need to re-start the PPM?

Re: Java Reports

You can simply restart your server or rename JSP after every changes .
