Issues, Risks, Scope Change Requests do not appear in Project Summary

Hi,

I've created my own Risk, Issue and Scope Change requests types and workflows. I've included required sections in request header types so I can create these requests from Project Summary tab in Project. However these request do not appear in appropriate issues, risks, scr sections in Project Summary.
I've noticed that it happened when I've created my own statuses for these 3 requests. When changing statuses to orginal (Cancelled, Closed, Escalated, New, Not submitted, Open, Pending Closure) - requests appear again in Project summary.

I can't find place when it can be configured or anything about such limitations in Configuration guides.

I will be grateful for information if solution other than using stanndard statuses exists for this problem.

Re: Issues, Risks, Scope Change Requests do not appear in Project Summary

Hi,

I have these requests specified in Project settings, and they do appear they as long as they have orginal statuses. When request have my own status, it does not appear in list (no matter is it risk, issue or scr).

It seems project summary page have filters on statuses but I don't know where it can be specified.

Hi.
I use my risk, isuue and scope too. All fine.
Check you new ststuses in Request Type on WorkBensh in tab "Request Statuses". I.e you need add new ststuses to Request type.

Re: Issues, Risks, Scope Change Requests do not appear in Project Summary

Hi,

please see my scr request type definition, sample scr submitted and project summary page with no scr displayed in attached file.

Project management User Guide excerpt:
Issues associated with the project appear in the following order:
1. Escalated open issues (ordered by priority)
2. Other open issues (ordered by priority)
3. Closed issues (ordered by priority)

suggests only issues (SCR is the same) with apropriate statuses are filtered - in these case when no issues are found with default (hardcoded) statuses - maybe they can't be displayed?

Re: Issues, Risks, Scope Change Requests do not appear in Project Summary

Hi Lukasz,

Can you check the References tab of the project and see if the request appears there?

Re: Issues, Risks, Scope Change Requests do not appear in Project Summary

Alexander, Erik,

please see information you requested in attached file - it seems everything is fine:
- request type selected in project settings matches this from previous post
- scr request is present in project references but still not in project summary

I will appreciate your comments on that

Re: Issues, Risks, Scope Change Requests do not appear in Project Summary

Support has a document on this, but provides little real help:

"Scope change requests appear as references but not on Project Overview page

The Scope change request type may have become corrupted. Manually re-create the Scope Change Request."
