Issue with referencing Images from App Server in HTML Reports

hello team,

we are currently using PPM 9.1 and have a custom report built on HTML. The Image files are in the App server and when refered in the HTML Report in below manner, we do not see the images in report.

add_text(v_report_id, v_line_num, 'Y', '<LEFT><img src="\\*APP_SERVER_NAME*\inetpub\ppm\icons\logo.gif"</img></LEFT><CENTER><b><u>PSR</u></b></CENTER>');

Can somebody help me in resolving this issue so as to have the image properly shown on my reports.

I have modified images a little - this may help:

- you are referencing your image location using the APP Server name (disk path), it really needs to be referenced from the jsp/html path.

- Thus it needs to look something like this:

      <img src="/itg/web/knta/global/images/HP-invent-logo.gif"

We have recently upgraded to 9.1 and finding it difficult in putitng the images for a report(copied from 7.5 machine).

Can you give me a bit detail information on where hte files need to be put in order to be used in custom reports.

Look at the attachment.

Look at the same on your PPM version.

This may help you determine the jsp/html path and where you want to place your image file.
