Is there a way to logon via url to specific nodes? What to monitor with nodes?

We are running 9.14 in Linux in a clustered environment.   We have 2 app servers 2 web servers and 4 notes using TAM for SSO.   Our PROD1 node crashed this morning due to  PermGen space.    We are trying to setup better monitoring since we didn't catch this.

Our old server was a single windows server and was a little easier to moniitor.    Wondering what is the best way to monitor PPM is up in a clustered environment?

Also, is there a way to logon to a specific node via a url?   We cant seem to figure out if this is possible.    ie, logon to PROD2  or   PROD3   vs   allowing the load balance to determine target.

We are running the kind of monitoring you are talking about on our 9.14 system. We have no patches beyond the initial 9.14 release installed on this system. The URL you would use would look like:

http://<Hostname>:<portnumber>

Note that we use LDAP authentication. This may not work with SSO.

I have seen comments in release notes for later releases, possibly for 9.2, that imply that this capability no longer is available at that level but we have no experience with those releases.
