Hi

We are using PPMC 9.14 in Windows server 2003 environment. A new web server IIS 7.5 installed in another machine (OS - Windows 2008R2). We want to access PPMC via the webserver. Followed all the configuration steps from Installadmin guide but still not able to connect to PPM If anyone can help me in this case attached the isapi.log

Re: Integration of PPMC 9.14 with IIS 7.5 web server problem

Hello,

Can you attach the following files:

-Server.conf (From PPM)

-workers.properties  (From PPM)

-uriworkermap.properties (From PPM)

Check the following steps in the server where IIS is installed:

1-Start | Setting | Control Panel | Administrator tools | IIS Manager

2-Click on the “<HOST_NAME>(local computer)” | Web Services Extension

3-Check to see “All Unknown ISAPI Extensions” has “Allowed” status.  If not, the redirector isapi will not execute and as a result, requests will not get to PPM server.

Note :  If there are security concerns with allowing all Unknown ISAPI,  you could add a new Web Server Extension for Jakarta Isapi specific and only allow Jakarta isapi Web Extension.

Please note that the account used to install the IIS and start the IIS as services need to be part of the Local machine Admin group.  If this user belongS to other restrictive os security group, then the restrictive os security permission will apply.  This could cause error similar to “access denied” when trying to access the web pages served by the IIS server.  Please work with your Windows Administrator on this.
