How to integrate HP PPM with SAP to pull out the financial information

Is there any way to integrate HP PPM with SAP to retrieve financial data and some report from SAP. It seems like the integration via Web Service is no longer supported. Is there any open interface for this purpose?

Hi,

I came across following posting, which might partially answer what you are trying to achieve here.

Re: How to integrate HP PPM with SAP to pull out the financial information

Hi,

In addition to that link, I have mentioned 3 integration with SAP R/3 and PPM but there is a another way: SAP BW consolidation. In this solution, you don't need BAPI's and web services. All data consolidate in BW and come from SAP and PPM.

I will write an article in HP IT Expert site about financials in HP tools. Please follow it: http://hp.com/go/swcommunity

Re: How to integrate HP PPM with SAP to pull out the financial information

For the people who have accessed this question regarding integration of SAP with HP PPM, we Impress developed a very flexible, highly configurable application "IMPRESS for EPM" that integrates PPM with SAP.

We have implemented many sites of this globally integrating SAP with Primavera or MS Project in companies such as Shell, BP, US Army, Rockwell Collins, Centrica, Huntsman and others.

IMPRESS for EPM is modular and can be configured and easily installed to integrate project schedules, financials, resources, materials and time entry or % project completion, bidirectionally between SAP and PPM, so keeping data in synch on a daily basis, saving time, eliminating inaccuracy and ensuring "a single version of the truth".

We would be intersted in extending this to integrate HP PPM with SAP.   Our experience is working for 12 years with PPM and for 18 years with SAP.

If you have a need or would like more information, please email me at paul.groves@impress.com.

Regards,  Paul
