How to decide if a proposal/project/asset belongs to any portfolio

When to open a program, there is a field indicaing if this program belongs to any portfolios.

When to open a proposal/project/asset, I did not find this kind of indicator. Is there any way to check if a proposal/project/asset belongs to any portfolio?

Re: How to decide if a proposal/project/asset belongs to any portfolio

Hi Judy,

There are Request header type field groups in workbench. There are two field groups which are considering you:

  • PFM-Project : It says PPM that this request type is a project and can be use in portfolio management. So if you add this field group you can see that your request add which portfolio. (references tab)
  • Program Reference : It says PPM that this request type can be use in program management.  So if you add this field group you can see that your request add which program. (references tab)

I opened a project which belongs to a portfolio. But I did not find the portfolio in its Reference tab.

Hi Judy,

Please check request header type field groups, if PFM-Project selected?
