How to deal with "estimated finish" field?

Good day.
This is some example: We have two tasks,A and B, B depends on A with finish-start link type.
Let task A has one week duration an starts at january 1st, second - one week duration and starts on January 7th. They have "Estimated finish" dates on 7th and 14th respectively.
Then an user responsible for task A thinks that he can't do task in a week and changes estimate date to February 1st.
But no dates changed for task B! I expected that "Estimated finish" for B will move if someone moved task A.
How can we track changes in dates in dependent task chains? May be there is some option to recalculate dates automatically?

Hi,

No, the task dates will not automatically be updated but if you have schedule warnings enabled in your project settings then these issues will be visible in the work plan and the project exceptions page. A project manager can then manually update the individual tasks affected, or reschedule the work plan using the Reschedule button to solve the conflicts.
