How to check for a file and size before executing PPM Report

Is there a way within PPM 7.5 Reports (e.g. Import Users) to check to see if a file exists and if it's a certain size or smaller before continuing with the Import Users Report? If both checks fail, then we want the report to not run and notify certain individuals.

I'm looking for any easy and quick means possible.

Thanks.

Don't know why you couldn't just create a simple shell script to do this and add it to the beginning of the 'commands' section of the Import Users report and have it return a non-zero exit code if your conditions are not met. Then set the folks you want to receive the failure notice when you 'create' (schedule) the report.

The idea worked in the sense by using a PPM Report and if it fails, the report will not continue.

Thanks.
