How to change the action button names dynamically?

Hi,

We have requirement where we need to use one decision step named as "WF 2 in Process"
with action button as "Submit for WF Approval".

But we have requirement where we need to reroute the workflow to existing decision step itself with number of iterations with action button names like "Submit for WF 2.1 Approval",
"Submit for WF 2.2 Approval",... and so on....

How to change the action button names dynamically.( Is the workflow step validation will support request type field tokens?)

Thanks

Re: How to change the action button names dynamically?

Don't think this is possible.

You could create an 'Iteration' field at the top of the request and set it to display 'WF 2.2 Approval' etc as appropriate...

Re: How to change the action button names dynamically?

Hi,

some time ago I tried to use request type tokens [REQ*.*.*] in workflow step validations, but the only working token I found was [SYS.USER_ID].
Haven't tried the workflow tokens [WFI.*]itself, because they are barely documented.

Michael
