How to Populate "Parent" value of a Package Manually ?

When we create a package using a â Create packageâ execution step in the Request Workflow, the â Parentâ value of that package get populated with â Request xxxxâ where xxxx is the REQ_ID. Please see the attached screenshot. This value is used during jump and receive between Request and Package.

Does anyone know a way to populate that value manually from backend?

Thanks in advance.

Strage. I guess no one has run into multiple packages for a single project issue like we have before.

I had this same question a while back. HP told me the only way to do this was through a back end update which they do not support. They never told me which field exactly on the db would need to be populated, though.

Thanks Tommy. I am trying to find that exact table and field/parameter related to that "Parent" value for the pacakges as well. That would have really helped me associate the existing Package(which was created but not Submitted) to the New Req that get created later.

Wonder if anyone has any ideas on that.

Thanks.
