How to Edit the Notes Section in Project Overview page

Hi,

is there was a way to expand the amount of characters allowed in the notes section within PPM. When I export project lists, it always cuts off a portion of the updated note if it’s too long. Is there a way to fix this.

Thanks,

Naveen Kumar

The Notes filed within the Notes section.... the width if this field cannot be modified, but you can entry any number of characted as there is no limit. This field is CLOB datatype in the database.

HiNaveen,

If you want to edit existing notes use knta_note_entries table,Where notes data will exists.

You can also conform notes data type as CLOB

In export to PDF you cannot do anything, but in CUSTOM list portlet you can show whole notes comments without being truncated.
