HP PPM 7.5 Service Pack 5

Hi,

I've to apply SP5 to PPM 7.5 but it is not with me and I've to download it from HP site.

Could anyone please provide me the URL/link so that I can get it from there.

It would be a great help if someone is already have it and don't mind to share with me.

Cheers,
Mandy

Patches can be downloaded from http://support.openview.hp.com/downloads.jsp. Click on Software Patches and enter the appropriate search criteria. 7.5 SP5 is not on the list. You should use the latest, SP6, as it corrects a number of significant problems. We have been running it since January, though we are hoping a new patch level is released soon. There are still problems that should be addressed.

Re: HP PPM 7.5 Service Pack 5

Thanks Jim.

I was applying SP6 which downloaded from the site mentioned above. During process below error has occured:

ERROR : Install failed pre-reuisite checks
Pre-requisites must be aaplied before continuing.
Please refer the release notes for this service pack

The error is related to pre-requisites. I've also gone through the release notes of SP6 but did not find any pre-requisite that must be applied before applying SP6.

I am attching error log file which will give more idea about error.

Could anyone please suggest what is causing the error. It is very urgent.

P.S. : I am using the evaluation version of PPM7.5

Re: HP PPM 7.5 Service Pack 5

The above issue has been resolved and I am now able to proceed further with SP6 deployment.

I was applying SP6 on PPM7.5 but it has been stuck at one point and over an hour passed but it is still at the same stage. I doubt whether it is processing or not.

Attaching snapshot which shows position where it is last more that an hour.

No error has been occurred so far.

Should I assume that SP6 has been applied successfully and stop it externally? OR wait till it finishes process completely.
