Getting errors while trying to edit portlet preferences

Hello,

We have recently upgraded PPM from 7.5 sp3 to 8.03 version in Production environment.

Now, we are facing one problem while trying to edit portlet preference.

When, we are trying to select any column from 'available columns' in edit portlet preference of 'Project List',
its showing some errors in alertbox something like ' No field for path:extraPortletsPrefsTree.availableColumns ', and not able to move any column from
'available columns' to 'displayed columns'

Earlier, after upgradation in develepment and test environment, we didn't face this issue.

Best Regards,
Sanjeeban.

Re: Getting errors while trying to edit portlet preferences

Hi Sanjeeban,

please delete the browser cache and upon next restart of your instance also the tmp- and work-directory of the nodes, to be sure that this isn't caused by some data corruption.

Please also explain what happens once you acknowledge the error and try to work on - does that work or does the page freeze? Do you also get an IE-error in bottom left corner of the page? Does this also occur on Firefox?

If all fails, I suggest to install Fiddler and capture the traffic when you reproduce the issue.

Best regards,

Dirk

Re: Getting errors while trying to edit portlet preferences

Hi Dirk,

The issue has been resolved automatically. I didn't have to remove the folders or delete the browser cache also.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion.

Best Regards,

Sanjeeban.
